Huatulco is located in Mexico on the Pacific coast. It offer nine bays and a wide variety of accommodations and amenities near the foothills of the Sierra Madre del Sur Mountains. Geography of Huatulco

Outrigger Vacation Club would like to introduce you further to the area of Huatulco and its geography. Divided into four main districts, each area of Huatulco is important for different reasons. The areas include Tangolunda, Santa Cruz, La Crucecita, and Chahue.

Tangolunda is known for being the location of the upscale resorts in the area. Some of the top destinations in the area include The Plaza Tangolunda Hotel, Las Brisas and Campo de Golf Tangolunda. The Huatulco Campo de Golf Tangolunda has many great reviews. The most frequently used word in describing the area is challenging. The greens are made of Bermuda grass and it is laid out on a narrow but deep area. Designed by Mario Schjetnan Dantan and Pedro Guereca, it features a lot of open space and beautiful views of the surrounding areas.

Santa Cruz is a small town located nearby and features the main beach and marina area. Known for its small town atmosphere and great outdoor activities, travelers enjoy extensive waterways, a large variety of seafood restaurants, waterfalls and hot springs and some of the best birdwatching in the world. It offers visitors a much different experience in Huatulco than Tangolunda.

Alaska

Travel To Alaska with Outrigger Vacation Club

The largest US state by area, Alaska is the least densely populated state with a population of less than 750,000 people. Until 1867, Alaska was actually part of Russia and it wasn’t until 1912 that it became a U.S. Territory and was adopted as the 49th State in 1959. Known as Alyeska or the Great Land the native peoples are Native American Groups from Athabascan and its subcultures to the more well known Inuits and Aleut and many more.

There are many creative and wonderful ways to explore Alaska including ferry’s, cruises, railway, car and even dog sled. Also known as the Mother Road, the actual history of Route 66 is one of the original U.S. Highways which was constructed in 1926. It means many things to many people. Route 66 has been the source of legends, songs, poetry and movies since its creation. The actual Route travels from Chicago to Los Angeles. It was originally used by many migrants traveling west during the 1930’s in a search for work or simply to start a new life. By the 1950’s Route 66 had become an easy way for vacationers to head to Los Angeles and this kept its popularity even with the creation of new roads which bypassed the Route.

The Decline and Rebirth of Route 66

After the 50’s the roads popularity began to decline and it was not until the late 1980’s that the route began to once again gain popularity in the public eye. It was designated Historic Route 66 in 1990 and the first marker was put up.

Great Attractions of Eleuthera

Glass Window Bridge was originally the site of a natural arch, it was washed away in 1965 from a hurricane and was subsequently replaced by the Glass Window Bridge.
